Primary Home Care is long-term care and non-technical in nature and provides attendant/homemaker services as requested by the client. The attendant/provider may be chosen by the client or by the agency. This program is for eligible Medicaid and Title XIX recipients who are disabled or elderly and have a medical need for assistance. (Disabled recipients include children as well.) Mental illness and Mental Retardation do not automatically disqualify a client for eligibility.

- routine hair and skin care
- preparing meals
- feeding
- exercising
- helping with self-administered medications
- toileting
- transferring and ambulating
