Family Care (FC) is long-term care and non-technical in nature.  Family Care provides attendant care services to eligible adults (18 and over) who are functionally limited in performing activities of daily living.  Family Care has a funding source comprised of Social Services Block Grant (Title XX) and State Funds.

Home Management

  • Changing bed linens

  • Housekeeping

  • Laundering

  • Shopping

  • Storing purchased items

  • Washing dishes

Patient Escorts

  • accompanying the patient on trips to obtain medical services

  • accompanying the patient on trips to obtain medical treatment

 

  

Personal Care

  • bathing

  • dressing

  • grooming

  • routine hair and skin care

  • preparing meals

  • feeding

  • exercising

  • helping with self-administered medications

  • toileting

  • transferring and ambulating
